Hormones and Growth
Nancy tries to sell weed at a company softball game. If you're thinking that the premise sounds overly familiar, it's probably due to the fact that the show's first three seasons was pretty much the same thing.
Well I Think It's Gonna Be a Long, Long Time
Doug's steroid use is starting to take its toll on him. If you're getting tired of the repetitiveness of Nancy's actions, take solace in the fact that Doug's hijinks in this episode offer a nice comedic relief from the tediousness of the show. The only real regret I have about his story arc is that he still has yet to murder that one, contemptible co-worker of his who keeps calling him Rocketman.

Dirty Harry
Looks like Shane's well on his way to receiving a police officer's badge. In this week's adventures, Shane meets a detective and his two prostitute informants in a shady parking garage. The cop decides to take him on as an intern. I'm not entirely sure if he's sincere about wanting to be a cop, especially since he's part of the Botwin Criminal Empire, but it makes for some nice drama. Why is it that everyone's subplot these days seem to be more interesting than Nancy's?
Uncaged Heat
Nancy's lesbian lover is back from prison. And she's not too enthused about Nancy making out with her brother. It's funny how Nancy is so attracted to overly possessive psychopaths. For a middle-aged woman who's thrice-widowed, you'd think she'd learn.
The First Rule About Fight Club
Shane decides to take up boxing. Well, actually, he's just coerced into boxing a random male model as part of a business transaction with some attractive woman who handles said models. He intends on throwing the fight, since the woman has placed a bet on the other boxer, but the other boxer taps into Shane's mommy issues. Obviously, Shane beats him half to death and the woman rewards him with messengers to deliver his weed because his defiant spirit turns her on. Apparently, every woman on this show has to be a nymphomaniac in order for it to work.
You Can't Get Addicted to Weeds
Despite being a bit old hat, the show's still enjoyable. This episode did a good job of keeping me interested for the next episode (what's Nancy's prison lover going to do?) but on its own, I wasn't interested at all in the main storyline. Then again, I've been following Nancy for about six years, and it doesn't seem like she's done any growing in that time. Well, I mean, she’s done growing, but … oh, you know what I mean.
