1. Detroit Lions -- Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia -- Word is that Stafford had a strong workout with the Lions. Not sure how you can pay a rookie $35 million in guaranteed money to hold a clip board for the first part of the season, but that is the pay scale for the top pick.
2. St. Louis Rams -- Jason Smith, OT, Baylor -- Rams cut OT Orlando Pace earlier this year so Smith would be the likely pick here.
3.KansasKansas City Chiefs -- Aaron Curry, OLB, Wake Forest -- Curry may be the most talented player in the Draft. Solid college career and even better combine and pro day Workout.
4. Seattle Seahawks -- Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia -- Seahawks will try and extend Matt Hasselbeck's career with a solid offensive tackle who is pro ready out of the UVA system. Lots of people have WR Michael Crabtree in this spot, but Crabtree will be recovering from foot surgery and Seahawks signed T.J. 'Championship' Houshmandzadeh.
5. Cleveland Browns -- Brian Orakpo, DE, Texas -- Eric Mangini may be gun-shy about taking a DE this high after the Vernon Gholston debacle with the Jets, but Orakpo was consistent throughout college.
6. Cincinnati Bengals -- Andre Smith, OT, Alabama -- Andre Smith has had an awful couple of months: from his bowl game suspension to going AWOL at the NFL combine. Given all that, the Bengals are desperate for a dominant left tackle and Marvin Lewis probably thinks he can coach him up.
7. Oakland Raiders -- Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech -- Crabtree is recovering from left foot surgery, but is a top rated player.
8. Jacksonville Jaguars -- Mark Sanchez, QB, USC -- The Mark Sanchez watch begins. Lots of teams interested including the Jaguars, Jets, 49ers and Redskins.
9. Green Bay Packers -- Aaron Maybin, DE/OLB, Penn State -- Packers will probably move Maybin to outside linebacker to rush the quarterback.
10. San Francisco 49ers -- Everette Brown, DE, Florida State -- Run on pass rushing DE/OLBs continues with the 49ers taking the best pass rusher available on the board.
11. Buffalo Bills -- Brandon Pettigrew, TE, Oklahoma State -- Buffalo would probably take the best available pass rusher if any remain on the board. Bills could also trade pick to a team eager to grab one of the first round QBs. Probably too early to take Pettigrew here, but they might end up with him if they trade down.
12. Denver Broncos -- B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College -- Broncos won't score as many points without Cutler, so Broncos need more defense.
13. Washington Redskins -- Michael Oher, OT, Mississippi -- Chris Samuels and Jon Jansen are getting old. Rumors continue to swirl about Redskins wanting Sanchez.
14. New Orleans Saints -- Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio State -- Saints also have needs at OLB and RB, but the greatest need is at cornerback and Malcolm Jenkins is the best CB in a very thin class.
15. Houston Texans -- Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee -- Texans would like to find a defensive end to book-end with Mario Williams.
16. San Diego Chargers -- Rey Maualuga, LB, USC -- Maualuga has an injured hamstring but he should be ready for training camp.
17. NY Jets -- Josh Freeman, QB, Kansas State -- Jets have locked on to Freeman. They might have to trade up to get him.
18. Denver Broncos -- Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU -- After the Cutler trade, Broncos take possesion of the 18th pick from the Bears. Jackson would fit nicely into the Broncos' 3-4 defense.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- Jerry Peria, DT, Mississippi -- New Tampa Bay head coach Raheem Morris knows that the front seven of the defense needs help.
20. Detroit Lions -- Eben Britton, OT, Arizona --Teams are always looking for starting offensive tackles at this point in the draft and the Lions need help on both sides of the offensive and defensive lines.
21. Philadelphia Eagles -- Knowshon Moreno, RB, Georgia -- Michael Westbrook isn't getting any younger and the Eagles need a running back to share the load with Westbrook. Running backs keep going later and later every year.
22. Minnesota Vikings -- Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina -- Nicks seems to catch anything that is near him. Vikings haven't had success drafting wide receivers recently, but Nicks was a solid performer every year at UNC.
23. New England Patriots -- Brian Cushing, OLB, USC -- Mike Vrabel was traded to KC and the Patriots need to pressure the quarterback.
24. Atlanta Falcons -- Clay Matthews, OLB, USC -- The Falcons could pencil in Matthews as a starter at outside linebacker on draft day.
25. Miami Dolphins -- Vontae Davis, CB, Illinois -- Davis did not have an impressive combine, but you can't teach speed. Head coach Tony Sparano should be able to coach him up.
26. Baltimore Ravens -- Jeremy Maclin, WR, Missouri -- It seems like the Ravens always need a receiver. Darrius Heyward-Bey from Maryland is also an option.
27. Indianapolis Colts -- James Laurinaitis -- The Colts need multiple linebackers in this year's draft. Choosing a wide receiver will also be a priority.
28. Buffalo Bills -- Alex Mack, C, California -- It sounds like Buffalo will cover the Left and Right Tackle spot with a combination of Langston Walker, Kirk Chambers and Demetrius Bell (Karl Malone's son). Buffalo still needs to fill interior line positions and California's Alex Mack makes a lot of sense here.
29. NY Giants -- Connor Barwin, LB, Cincinnati -- Antonio Peirce needs more help at the linebacker spot. Barwin could also play tight end around the goal line.
30. Tennessee Titans -- Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Maryland -- Lots of good receivers should still be available. Percy Harvin is also an option.
31. Arizona Cardinals -- Beanie Wells, RB, Ohio State -- If the Cardinals take Wells, they could release Edgerrin James the next day.
32. Pittsburgh Steelers -- Percy Harvin, WR, Florida -- Steelers could use some help on the offensive line but Harvin is an all-around athlete they can plug into kick returns and even the wildcat formation.
