When Tom was asked if there were other blood feuds that are relatable in the world similar to “Hatfields & McCoys”, in his vitriolic way he replied that the Greek city states had it, along with the Irish, the Balkans, and the ever unstable Middle East. His feeling is that by bringing an awareness to these types of stories wherein clans and tribes have a history of feuding, there may not be a solution, at least there may be an end to the constant bloodshed.

With his homes undergoing nonstop construction Costner tells us backstage his children are under the impression he is a carpenter instead of an actor. In a more touching moment the Dances with Wolves icon reveals his most amazing life changing moment: “The day I disappointed my dad and declared my identity as an actor who was willing to risk being a provider. As a blue collar kid it was a damn gutsy.”

Modern Family Cast Enlivens Backstage

The Modern Family Cast came en force behind the scenes with us. Plenty of writers, actors, directors, and children. When asked how they will celebrate they said they will enjoy their jobs and lives, because eventually we will hate them.
Naturally as Sofia was singled out for a question, we asked her to come to the mic to see what she was wearing. Yeah right? Her urbane manner was spiced up with her quick witted remark that the only thing she doesn’t enjoy about the shows’ success is that Julie Bowen keeps winning her award.

Jessica Lange may play a creepy neighbor and soon to be serpentine nun on American Horror Story (FX) but she admits loving how silly some of the more disturbed scenes are to film. “It’s, that southern drawl that takes no prisoners.” Lange cackles. “And if anyone cares, I’ll be keeping this award next to my Emmy for Grey Gardens — these two very strange ladies should stick together.”
