How do you like your favorite cocktail? I'll bet that you wouldn't want it tainted with the body of a mutilated man. Yup, the scene is set and the mood is right for the makings of a great horror film -- except the place investigated this week is real.
Built in the 1700's, Virginia's own Graham Mansion has had more than a gruesome past. The original owner was reportedly murdered and chopped up by his slaves and then dumped in a barrel of moonshine. That would be a drink with quite a kick.
You Drive Me Crazy
Martha is the mansion's resident crazy, as she was allegedly shackled by her husband in the basement after going mad inside the house. Doesn't sound like a marriage made in heaven? The gang tries over and over to try and get her attention and provoke some paranormal activity, but the ghosts don't seem to want to make an appearance.
There is one piece of audio recording that turns up a female voice, but unfortunately they can't be sure that it is her. Otherwise, none of the TAPS members are able to make any direct contact with Martha or her husband.
Spirit Shortage
Besides the usual creaks and scuffs across the floor, this episode was a little disappointing in comparison to others this season. The only origin of activity seemed to center around the room with the dollhouse, but even then it was just some scratches and a questionable voice recording.
I was anticipating a much better paranormal turn out ... especially considering the horrific past this place has had. The crew was able to debunk more claims then they could confirm, but I guess there really isn't room for complaint. I don't think I'd really WANT there to be a mutilated ghost and his crazy wife roaming around freely.
