Susan (Teri Hatcher) is disheartened when Julie's (Andrea Bowen) visit turns out to be because she is six months pregnant and needs her to meet the adoptive parents. Gabby's (Eva Longoria) attempt to make Juanita (Madison De La Garza) happy for Valentine's Day backfires. Lynette's (Felicity Huffman) first sexual encounter since Tom (Doug Savant) is a real tearjerker. The girls finally recognize Bree's (Marcia Cross) pain.

Baby Mama Drama

Julie decides she wants to finish her PhD and through an agency has found parents for her baby. When the couple comes to Susan's for dinner, she cunningly has Julie get dessert and proceeds to tell them of Julie's mental illness and prison tattoos. This leads to quite the confrontation with Julie confessing she doesn't want a baby because she already raised one -- Susan. After apologies are made, Julie maintains she will do what is best for "her." It's a girl.

Kiss and Tell

While making cupcakes for Valentine's Day, Gabby notices Juanita making an extra special one for Ryan. Like most men, Ryan eats the cupcake but doesn't give Juanita a Valentine. Gabby, unable to handle Juanita sad, hurriedly makes a fake Valentine card from Ryan. Of course, Juanita therefore tackles Ryan at school and kisses him. Gabby simply admitting she made the Valentine from Ryan isn't enough for Juanita. She's tired of the lies and demands to know where her father really is.

There Will Be Tears

I was surprised to see Frank (Patrick Fabian) and Lynette on a second date. Almost as surprised as when Lynette offers "dessert" to him as soon as he arrives for their third date. That many surprises usually doesn't turn out well, and it certainly didn't for Lynette as she explains to Renee (Vanessa Williams) there was no hiding her tears during sex considering she had to blow her nose half way through. I would like to know where Frank came from so I could find one, because I can't believe he shows up again with pizza and wine for a pressure free date with the woman he likes and is willing to give time for.

Barfly, Don't Bother Me

I believe Bree hits a new low when she unknowingly picks up the same guy from two nights ago. When the girls learn Renee took Bree drinking, they realize she must really be hurting and want to help. Their intervention comes to blows when Bree tells them of her suicide attempt and how it was because of them.

Later, at the bar, a man approaches Bree for sex, considering everyone in the bar knows her now. In the parking lot, the man grabs her and begins forcing himself on her until Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) appears and Tasers the hell out of the guy.

Memorable Quotations

"You don't buy a car without giving it a test drive. Drive this guy, Lynette. Drive him hard." -- Gabby's sex advice to Lynette for her new man.

"Did she tell you she can hold her hand over an open flame without crying? Yeah, her eyes water, but she just keeps laughing and laughing." -- Susan's private conversation with the couple Julie wants to adopt her baby.

"But, that's how it works. First, kissing. Then, get married. Then, he buys me presents." -- Juanita's understanding of men; definitely Gabby's daughter.
