A million guest stars and some big changes make this an episode of The Good Wife that you can't afford to miss.
Party Down
We start out with a big shindig at Lockhart & Gardner, but it isn't long before things start to get tense. Will's (Josh Charles) past indiscretion with taking money from a client's account has come to light, and he's facing disbarment. That would mean losing one of the show's most important characters... but the other option is he goes to prison.
Spying Eyes
This week's case deals with a software company that provided technology to the Syrian government that let them track protestors and revolutionaries. It gave frequent opponent Viola Walsh (Rita Wilson) a chance to return, and she was deliciously smug, getting into Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) head and putting up a hell of a fight before losing her case.
Dirty Politics
Because there wasn't enough going on in the episode, we also got Eli Gold's (Alan Cumming) ex-wife Vanessa (Parker Posey) returning as well, for a storyline about her political aspirations. He's mad that she didn't hire him to run her political campaign, but things end happily with the pair sharing a kiss, perhaps indicating more fireworks in the future.< p>
Vaya Con Dios
The firm's pro bono program pays dividends as Will is given the option of a six-month suspension, which he takes. As a result, he's no longer allowed to even step into the offices, and the firm is renamed Lockhart & Associates. This also means that Alicia is going to have more on her plate, as she's named Kalinda's attorney for her IRS case. That should be interesting.
What do you think the show is going to be like with Will gone for six months? Do you think that upcoming special guest Matthew Perry will be filling in as legal muscle? And did you think that this episode just had too many guest stars?
