As I watched tonight's Desperate Housewives, I wish Bree would get Orson out of her life instead of spending less time with the other housewives. Instead, she is even more in awe of her ex on this episode and I guess that is at least partly due to him saving her from a drunk. I enjoyed the other storylines tonight, although the pace could have been a bit faster to suit me.
You've got a friend, or do you?
Bree tells Orson that he is her only friend now. When the girls show up at Bree's house, they don't find Bree there, but Orson. Trying to pretend that they aren't shocked to see him, they also don't react much when Orson tells them that Bree doesn't want to see them. I get a creepy feeling about Orson that really intensifies when he seems to be involved with setting Bree up for something.
There are notes in Bree's mailbox and Orson watches as Alejandro's body is carried out. When Orson asks Bree to go to Maine with him, I scream "Nooooo!" at my TV because I just can't help it!
Who's your daddy?
Julie gets annoyed at Susan for being controlling about finding the father and Mike warns Susan not to meddle as Julie may never come back.But Susan doesn't have to do anything as she overhears that Porter is the father! Oh what is Lynette going to say or do about this! Well, Lynette is pissed off, especially after Porter and Preston moved back into her house when she didn't really want that anyway. Susan is touched that Porter wants to keep the baby.
Can I move in?
Against her better judgement, Gabrielle agrees to let Roy move in because Karen kicked him out. After first being miserable, Gabrielle is pleased that Celia and Juanita actually listed to Roy. When Roy wants to try to go back to Karen, Gabrielle doesn't really want him to leave. She finds out that Karen's cancer is back and has spread to her brain. Awww, that is sad.
Shark bites
Ben confides to Mike that he set a fake fire to try to get insurance money. He adds he's in trouble with loan sharks and during the story, Ben gets chest pains and has to go to the hospital. Mike tells Renee about what happened. Well, did he really have to bother her about it?
Renee goes to visit Ben and tells him she'll pay what he owes to the sharks. He doesn't want to accept her help after all he's done to her, but Renee is determined to make good on what she promised.
