We are taking a break from our native Ghost Hunters and going global for the midseason conclusion of Ghost Hunters International. The crew continues to search the world over for evidence of paranormal activity, and this week they land in Peru to explore two haunted locations.

Fortune and Glory

Calling all Indiana Jones fans! Get ready for this -- the Ghost Hunters International team visits pre-Incan ruins to investigate the real Temple of Doom! Okay, it might not be the exact one from the movie, but history reveals that there is evidence of human sacrifice and a magical stone that may be a portal between the living and the dead. (And no, it doesn't glow or have the capability to burn through a bag, but it's still pretty cool.) The paranormal team sets out to try and alleviate the archeologists' fears and capture any spiritual activity that may be lurking within the ruins.

While the team doesn't uncover their own fortune and glory, they do turn up some evidence for the ruin's curator. The stone may indeed have some mystical powers as it not only makes their paranormal equipment go crazy, but then appears to actually have its own heartbeat. This is one phenomenon that would stump even the famous Doctor Jones.

Mysterious Matador

The international team heads to their second location in Lima, Peru, to investigate a bull fighting ring named Plaza De Acho. This place is massive, and considering how dangerous bull fighting is, I must admit I am very surprised that only one matador has died in the ring. Juan is the name of the alleged ghost haunting the property, and right away one of the hunters is on a chase around the arena after his dark shadow.

The paranormal experiences the crew has are limited to personal ones, and they are able to reassure that the upcoming bull fighting season's festivities should not be disturbed. Whether or not the matador in question is haunting the arena is still unknown, but I'd be more afraid of jumping into a ring with a beast as angry as a bull.

Next week Ghost Hunters International will head to Italy in search of spiritual activity. What do you think of tonight's episode? Do you prefer the American team or do you like watching haunted investigations all over the world? Where do you hope the team goes this season?
