Grimm: Deeply in Love ... To Deeply Dead

As much as I really want the Monroe/Rosalee story line to advance (just be together already!) I'm glad that it's not moving too fast. Part of the intrigue and fun lies in the tension. The interaction between them is so cute, way more interesting than Nick and Juliet. Both don't believe the other could possibly be interested -- but we all know that they are! And the looks that they throw each other? It's like watching young love blossoming.

When they (hopefully) do finally get together, it may be awkward, but I can see Monroe pouring on the romance and being incredibly sweet.

Mysterious Key

Even after Nick destroys Adalind's evil soul, we still don't know the significance of the key that she and the captain so desperately wanted. I feel like the key came out of nowhere -- THAT is what they were after all this time?

The big Nick vs. Adalind moment that we had been waiting for -- and knew was coming -- lacked some oomph. Was it because we knew what was happening, and knew there wasn't any way Nick was going to die? The show has unfortunately become predictable. Monroe can't be the only one keeping it interesting!

Hank's Future

Nick saves Hank, who wakes up in Adalind's bedroom with Rosalee and Monroe (pretty humorous) but I wonder whether the whole scenario will affect his relationship with Nick. Before Hank fell under the spell, his character became very stagnant, and this story line kind of gave him an out. Him falling in love with Adalind was more creepy than anything. And now, what's going to be left of Hank?

What's Next?

Will Captain Renard start taking matters into his own hands with Nick? Or will he recruit someone else to do the job for him? I hope this isn't the end of Adalind, however. Because she seems smitten with the captain, I'm expecting her to make an appearance and try to salvage the situation. How? I don't know.

I was hoping to get some more back story on Adalind and Captain Renard as well. While the other Grimm creatures became whatever they were, Adalind only had an evil soul, which Nick was able to get rid of. So how did Adalind get her evil soul? Was she recruited by the captain? How is her mother involved with everything?
