Greetings, Checklisters! We're only a few weeks away from the prime TV-watching time of May sweeps, when finales and guest spots will be all everyone talks about at the water cooler. But for now, let's have a happy TV week with a few premieres, comedies and specials. Here's what to watch this week!
The Ricky Gervais Show Season Premiere 4/20, 9/8c, HBO
Season 3 of this hilarious animated version of audio podcasts between Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington begins Friday. Karl will grace us with his ridiculous theories on museum collections, strange inventions and his amazing movie idea about a man whose brain is transplanted into the body of Tom Cruise.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season Premiere 4/22, 10/9c, Bravo
Apparently, all of these women are still around and haven't been jailed, institutionalized or lost at sea. So audiences get to enjoy/endure a fourth season of cranky females putting feminism back 7,000 years and being utterly heinous to one another. Enjoy!

NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs All Week, Various times on CNBC, NBCSN and Local Networks
The final championship of winter sports is getting closer, with round one of the Conference Quarterfinals begun and favorites the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins going head-to-head and a potential match-up between rivals the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks coming.

Top Gear Season Premiere 4/16, 8/7c, BBC America
The UK classic car show kicks of its 18th (!) season with a trip to India. Uh, guys? Something tells me a bunch of Brits traveling to India to brag about your fancy-shmancy cars isn't that great of an idea.
Law and Order: SVU 4/18, 10/9c, NBC
Actress Chloë Sevigny guest-stars as an obedient homemaker who is raped and whose husband witnessed the entire encounter via Skype. Frequent SVU guest star Ron Rifkin also appears.
Patton Oswalt: Finest Hour 4/21, 10/9c, Comedy Central
This new stand-up special from self-proclaimed nerd Oswalt comes shortly after his utterly hilarious Oscar nomination snub Tweets went viral. If his new act is as funny as his 180 character bites, this special will surely be gut-busting.
Fox's 25th Anniversary Special 4/22, 8/7c, FOX
Host of just about everything Ryan Seacrest will also emcee this special honoring the network. The star-studded event will feature current FOX actors such as Hugh Laurie and Mila Kunis along with past stars and clips from the most successful shows throughout the years.
