Last night on The Voice, it was the Live Quarter Final Performances. Jesse Campbell from Team Christina and Jordis Unga from Team Blake had to go because their coaches chose them. Tonight, it was America's choice to save one contestant from each team and, after a sing off, each coach got one more save. The show was fun to watch tonight even if I didn't agree with all of the choices.

Defending her decision

Although I wasn't happy to see one of my favorites, Jesse Campbell, go home last night, I respected Christina's decision and am glad to see her still maintaining it under some razzing tonight. Christina said she made the best choice based on voice and yes, I agree because Jesse was a little off last night and the others did sing better. Speaking of voice sounds though, Christina all of a sudden makes a weird trilling bird noise for absolutely no reason, and see, this is why I can never really like her!

Two for the save

After a performance by the UK's The Wanted singing "Chasing the Sun," which was jolly good, Carson Daly is getting ready to announce America's two saves. I can't believe that there are only three contestants left on each team: RaeLynn, Erin Willet and Jermaine Paul forTeam Blake and Ashley De La Rosa, Chris Mann and Lindsey Pavao for Team Christina.

The saves are the only two guys: Chris for Team Christina and Jermaine for Team Blake. I think Jermaine deserved it for his "Against All Odds" song last night, but I would have picked Lindsey over Chris. Adam seems to not be that impressed either as he's really stone-faced at the news.

Gaga me with a spoon

Well, actually I'm not yet sick of hearing Lady Gaga's "You and I" being sung on every singing show - but, give me time! Ashley De La Rosa for Team Christina does a pretty good job with it, but parts of the song seem too slowed down for me. She also speaks through part of it rather than sings, but I absolutely love that! Adam calls it a "roller coaster" performance. Blake loved it.

Emotional breakthrough

Lindsey now has to do better than Ashley - at least by Coach Christina's standards. Ms. Pavao has no problem as far as I'm concerned as she's both emotional and soulful on "Please Don't Go." I can really see why this girl is topping the iTunes over the other contestants. I now see this total star emerging on The Voice! So must Christina, as she is crying even after the commercial break and Justin Bieber's introductory sneak peek of his music vid for "Boyfriend." Christina hands down picks Lindsey to stay, so that's it for Ashley.

Willet be Erin who goes?

Erin is up for Team Blake and she's supposed to be singing for her life, but I don't see the amazing effort she put in last night. Part of her version of "Proud Mary" is too slow and I'm losing focus as I'm going back in my mind to Adam Levine and Justin Bieber trading "hellos" and Adam apologizing for not joining Justin's "supergroup" - WTF? Carson Daly looks nervous and said this must be "insider information." Ha ha. Erin finishes her blah song and Adam calls it another "rollercoaster" performance. Christina likes her energy and effort, but I disagree. Cee Lo seems to like it well enough.

As a contestant, you're dead

I hope RaeLynn really gets everyone entranced and for me, it's working at the beginning. She's singing "If I Die Young" in an interesting way. After RaeLynn is done though, Adam says there was too much "personality" in RaeLynn's voice. Oh no! I'm thinking Blake will now choose Erin as a safer bet and he does! I still think this little blonde Texan spitfire's career is only beginning though!

Do you think RaeLynn and Ashley deserved to leave The Voice tonight?
