Girl-on-girl cattiness has reigned supreme this week. C'mon ladies -- can't we all just get along?
Rosie O'Donnell vs Lindsay Lohan
Rosie O'Donnell has not reacted well to the news that Lindsay Lohan will take on the role of Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime original movie Liz & Dick, airing June 4th. When asked by Matt Lauer if she thought the casting was a good idea, O'Donnell responded: "No. Because she's had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including [Saturday Night Live]. She was out and not at rehearsal and I think she's not in a place to work."
O'Donnell added that she "feel[s] very sorry for her. I think she needs a lot of help. She needs a lot of time away."
A publicist for Lohan has since spoken out in defense of the troubled star, stating, "I think Rosie should focus on her own career and stop worrying about everyone else's." It seems both camps -- as always -- have their claws out.

Clay Aiken vs Rihanna
Fresh from his stint on Celebrity Apprentice, singer Clay Aiken has singled out Rihanna as an example of an overrated songstress. When asked on Watch What Happens Live which present-day singers wouldn't make it past the American Idol auditions, Aiken answered: "Rihanna has some pitch problems for sure. She does," adding, "Now I'm gonna get in trouble, too!"
Rihanna has not issued a response to Aiken, who also shared with WWHL host Andy Cohen that he'd recently undergone plastic surgery. Looks like someone's publicist needs to dish out lessons on thinking before you speak (on live talk shows)!

Chelsea Handler vs Angelina Jolie
Late-night comedian Chelsea Handler has come under fire in recent years amid allegations that her former long-term partner Ted Harbert, CEO of Comcast and overseer of the E! network, were responsible for her rise to fame. It seems now that Handler is lashing out at another famous woman -- and this time, it's not in good humor.
When asked about Angelina Jolie, the fiancée of Handler's close pal Jennifer Aniston's ex Brad Pitt, Handler stated, "You just know as a woman when you see another woman if that's a woman you can trust," Handler told the magazine of the recently-engaged actress. "[Jolie] doesn't strike me as someone I would have a close friendship with."
The Jolie-Pitts are probably used to harsh critiques, but with Aniston and Handler's friendship as tight as it is, it's pretty blaringly clear where the anti-Angelina sentiment is coming from.

Natalia Vodianova vs the fans
Supermodel Natalia Vodianova has taken a mega PR hit, and lost hordes of body-positive fans, after an outburst at the British Vogue Festival earlier this week in which the Russian model said, "Come on, guys, it's better to be skinny than to be fat!" Hmm.
Vodianova has since elaborated on her intended meaning. "I'm sorry, but today the NHS [The UK's National Health Service] are fighting against obesity, children are taken away from their parents because they're too fat. And here we are, defending that we are healthy and skinny." She also said: "I respect my body. My body is my temple. If I eat like a pig, I feel like a pig."
Hmm. The blogosphere hasn't taken too kindly to Vodianova's thoughts on "health," and sites like Jezebel, TheCut, and The Daily Mail have fired back. "Wait, if I eat well and exercise I will look like a 5'9" Russian?" writes New York writer Dodai Stewart.
We have no doubt Vodianova will be doing some public backpedalling over the coming days.
