SyFy Developing Charlaine Harris Series Grave Sight
HBO's True Blood, based on Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse novels, has a slightly-larger-than-cult following, and now SyFy is developing a new series based on the author's Harper Connelly Mysteries. Connelly is a woman who developed the ability to communicate with the dead. While using her powers to track down a missing girl, she discovers a grand conspiracy afoot in her small town. It's hard to tell if this will work without more information about the creative people involved. SyFy has a mixed track record. Their made-for-television movies tend to be awful, but I am a big fan of Alphas.
