(Trae Patton, NBC)

The season's final show opens to a deafening roar by the studio audience. Allison wastes no time telling us what's at stake tonight and beginning the parade of those previously voted off. After last week's show, we've seen all of their transformed bodies before, but this is the first time we get to see them truly dolled up, and the results are miraculous. Once everyone is out and soaks up a little fanfare, Allison tells them to go change and come back out to weigh-in and see which of them will win 100,000 dollars.

The battle for the title of Second-Biggest Loser

Chism is first to weigh-in, which is interesting considering all the drama surrounding his father in recent weeks. Both Mark and Buddy are apparently not allowed to be a part of the show, so how must the 19 year old be coping with this complicated dichotomy? Nevertheless, he has lost 103 pounds and sits atop the scoreboard for all of one other weigh-in. Cassandra supplants him by losing 94 pounds, which could prove to be too daunting a number for anyone to top.

Emily by a nose

A few weigh-ins go by with not much more than a sniff at Cassandra's mark, but Emily looks like she's the one contestant left who could pose a threat. And pose a threat she does by losing 102 pounds and knocking Cassandra off her perch by one pound. Kimmy comes up short after her daughter Megan does the same. Lauren poses the next biggest challenge for Emily's crown, but she comes up two percentage points short. This leaves Mike as the only formidable foe standing between Emily and the 100,000 dollars. And unfortunately for her, there is incredibly less Mike standing in her way than there was at the start of the show. He blows Emily's number out of the water and secures 100,000 dollars for himself and his family.

The real battle begins

The one thing we know is that the Jeremy/Conda family has a two out of three shot of bringing in a lot more money into the family. We don't know much else to this point because the finalists have been hidden for the majority of the show. They finally are introduced walking alongside hologram representations of their heftier selves. All three of them look tremendous and we're offered some brief catch-up time with what they've been up to and where they're heading after this. Conda is the first on the scale and shows a weight loss of 115 pounds. It's a number that looks very impressive until her brother sheds almost 200 and vaults into the lead. Kim must have lost more than 128 pounds to win, but she comes up 10 pounds short. Jeremy is this season's Biggest Loser.
