At some point in every woman's life, she fantasizes about marrying a rock star, for better or worse. These three actresses found out what it means to be a musician's wife the hard way.
1. Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora
The former star of Melrose Place thought she was in for a lifetime of matrimonial bliss when she wed the Bon Jovi guitarist in 1994. She had previously been married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee; they even had a daughter together, Ava, born in 1997. However, rock stars are all about getting what they want when they want it, and nothing is more convenient than your wife's best friend. Sambora moved onto Locklear's favorite gal pal Denise Richards, and the two finalized their divorce in 2007.

2. Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger
When the native Texan wed the lead singer of iconic British rock band The Rolling Stones in 1990, the former top model probably thought this was her moment to exhale. The couple had been dating since 1977 and had a total of four children together. But the two annulled their union in 1999 after it was revealed that Jagger had fathered a child with another woman. To make matters worse, Jagger contested the validity of their common law marriage, performed during a Hindu ceremony, to ensure Hall didn't walk away with the $50 million she asked for. Hall later attempted to reboot her romantic life on television, with the short-lived reality competition Kept, where gorgeous men competed to be her personal boy toy. While infidelity continues to be the theme, greed was the nail in the coffin that kept this union from ending amicably.
3. Halle Berry and Eric Benét
This one made headlines more recently but caused such a commotion, despite Benét's lower profile. The uncommonly beautiful Berry married the singer in 2001 and even adopted his daughter, India. They were a gorgeous couple, but Benét had a secret: He was a sex addict. Thanks to his indiscretion, countless unfaithful partners and spouses are now seeking treatment for their medical inclination to cheat on their significant others. The pair divorced in 2005; another case of deceit, but mainly of mistaken identity. If she knew, maybe she thought she could fix him, as all women have a soft spot for bad boys.
There are other casualties in the actress/musician marriage world. Lest we forget the up-and-down love affair of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. The allure of money, fame and a whirlwind romance are all reasons women love rockers, but what drives them apart is always the same: Lies. We can only hope the new generation of rock star wives like Zooey Deschanel (married to Death Cab for Cutie'sBen Gibbard), Carey Mulligan (married to Mumford & Sons' Marcus Mumford) and Gwyneth Paltrow (married to Coldplay's Chris Martin) fair better.
