In tonight's episode, Sean (Dillon Casey) is injured in the field and Nikita (Maggie Q) and the others do not see eye-to-eye on a potential CIA alliance.
Getting Shot Isn't Always a Bad Thing
In Berlin, Nikita's people try to get their hands on some plutonium triggers before Percy (Xander Berkeley) can acquire them to potentially build a nuclear bomb, but both teams arrive at the same time and a gun-battle erupts. During the shooting, Sean is hit and Percy's guys get away with the merchandise.
Though Sean is patched up and recovering, Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) is worried about him and offers to look after him until he is better. Sean/Alex-shippers should be pleased with their interaction in this episode, which includes a somewhat-stoned Sean admitting to how awesome he thinks Alex is, followed by a very sexy make-out session.
Betrayal
Ryan tells Nikita they can still stop Percy from making his bomb if they can prevent him from getting ahold of missile casings. The new director of the CIA is a man Ryan knows and trusts and he could get them the information they need. Nikita also knows the man, Morgan Kendrick, and she believes he is corrupt. Ryan and Michael (Shane West) choose to meet with Kendrick anyway, as time is running out. Ryan asks Kendrick if he will help them and Nikita plants a bug on Kendrick so she can spy on his conversations. They hear Kendrick call Percy and give them up, before Kendrick calls Ryan to set up a meeting. Nikita plans to use the meeting to kill the dirty CIA director and pin his murder on Division.
Dead Hearts
During their conversation, Kendrick gives Ryan a secret message and Ryan realizes that the man is under duress. He and Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) figure out that Percy implanted Kendrick with a kill-chip when Kendrick had heart surgery. The mission now becomes saving Kendrick from Percy before Percy realizes what they are up to. Michael distracts the Division agents while Birkhoff figures out a way to stop Kendrick's pacemaker so he can short-out Kendrick's kill-chip.
Unfortunately, Division traces Birkhoff's signal back to Team Nikita HQ, so they are forced to destroy their home-base once again. Luckily, Ryan has a safe house of his own that he offers up, as he is now clearly part of the ever-growing Team Nikita. After they save his life, Kendrick follows through and gives Nikita and co. access to the CIA intelligence network and promises to rid the agency of any Division moles. Which is a good thing since Percy is definitely up to something and says it has nothing to do with building a nuclear bomb.
Will Nikita figure out what Percy's plans are before it's too late? Will Sean and Alex make out again? Will they ever find a safe house that isn't destroyed days later?
