There seemed to be a crazy number of stories in the past couple of weeks about parents and grandparents doing insanely dangerous things with kids and cars. This one's right up there with the others. I would say that trunk is definitely filled beyond its child capacity. Everyone knows three kids is the max in a compact car -- especially one from 1981. And one other tip: It's easier to see enormous semi trucks with the kids in the back seat and the trunk closed.
