Late last week, we saw the latest in a long line of high-profile TV firings. Let's look back at some of the biggest talent dismissals of the last 30 years.
Dan Harmon
(Community, NBC, 2012) 
The critically-acclaimed sitcom about seven misfit community college students had just been renewed for its fourth season when NBC announced that creator, Dan Harmon, had been relieved of his showrunner duties. The volatile Harmon's public feud with the series' high-profile costar Chevy Chase was the most likely cause of his removal. David Guarascio and Moses Port (most recently of Happy Endings) were announced as Harmon's replacements.
