Cuckoo's Nest
Every year, Piedmont High School in California has their bird calling contest and Dave invited this year's top three contestants to his show. Each contestant performed their signature call, and took geekiness to a level not previously known to have existed. Not only did they sound like birds, but they acted like them too. Was it absolutely necessary to do that? Is there something about thrusting their chest out and bobbing their head that allows them to make those noises? It takes a surprising level of commitment to do what those kids did, and do it proudly. If that weren't enough, Dave gathered all the contestants together at the end to form an uber-bird calling troupe.
