Someone Strap Hicks to His Chair!

True Confession: I love this show! First, it doesn't drag on -- each week, there are four new male celebs and we find out which date they end up with by the end of the hour. What's not to love? Tonight, we have Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino from Jersey Shore, TV chef Rocco DeSpirito, former pro-football player Warren Sapp and American Idol singer Taylor Hicks. Taylor seems so thrilled to be on The Choice that he breaks all the rules by climbing out of his seat whenever he feels like it and choosing girls without letting the others even speak. Luckily, he's got the charm to carry off this behavior, and host Cat Deeley takes it all in stride.

Meet the Ladies

Christine is up first and she gets all four guys to spin around, which is kind of amazing since she mentions she'd like a funny guy who can make her pee her pants. Christine likes that Taylor plays the harmonica, as he is doing now, but she picks Rocco the chef. Hope, a Las Vegas Jessica Simpson look-alike, does choose Taylor. Shakyra, a self-desribed "Caribbean Barbie," only gets Warren to turn around, but she seems totally fine with that outcome.

Lynn describes herself as the "total package" who is at the top of her law school class. All four men spin around and Lynn likes that Warren is a big teddy bear type, but she chooses Mike. Jessica, an Asian, New Jersey beauty pageant queen who loves shooting guns, gets all of the guys to spin around when she mentions showing them her tattoos. Jessica also picks Mike "The Situation."

Meet More Ladies

A pretty, black bartender from Chicago named Ericka gets all of the men to turn around with 10 seconds to spare. Warren says she should pick him since he's a big hunk of chocolate. Taylor says he'd like to try chocolate and the audience laughs. Ericka goes with Warren, saying that he turned around first. Laura, an Italian Lebanese girl from Brooklyn, says she likes to eat. Of course, Chef Rocco loves that, but Laura chooses Mike since she thinks she'd get along better with him. With that, Mike's dating pool is full as he has three ladies.

That doesn't stop "The Situation" from turning around for Lexi, a Jersey girl living in NYC. Cat tells Mike he's not eligible to choose any more ladies so Lexi decides on Rocco, who says "You, me and a bag of icing" when Lexi mentions she loves decorating cakes. TMI, Chef, but still hilarious! Latina Veronica also goes for Rocco, and his dating pool is now full. (Why on The Choice do they have to call it that?) Sonya is a runner who enjoys karaoke, so Taylor seems like a good pick for her and she does choose him.

Fools Rush In?

Since Taylor has one spot left in his "dating pool," he is supposed to choose between either Ruby or Cassandra after they each speak, but Taylor busts out of his chair, almost knocking Cat to the floor, to pick Ruby once he hears she's a "Southern Belle." Cat doesn't miss a beat when she tells poor Cassandra that she can be on an upcoming episode instead.

Everyone Out of the Pool

After the speed question round, which is mainly about favorite foods, places to live and dating wishes, each celeb must eliminate one girl. Annoyingly, after all of his antics, Taylor gets rid of Ruby. Warren sends exotic Angela packing, while Rocco parts with Veronica. Mike picks cute Liz to leave. With two girls still left in each guy's "dating pool," it's time for the final elimination round, based on a question each celeb asks.

Taylor wants to know about Hope's and Sonja's childhood dreams. Hope says she's accomplished it because she wants to be like her mother. Sonja replies that she wanted to be like Oprah, but now just wants to learn and travel. Taylor goes up on stage and chooses Sonja as his dream date. Warren gives Shakyra a hug as his dream date over Ericka. Rocco picks shrimp and Merlot loving Lexi over Christina and her family's pizza recipe. "The Situation" hints that he's making a "long-term" choice by going for self-described "good girl" Jessica, which leaves Laura out of the picture.

I really enjoyed The Choice this week. What is your take on this episode?
