Kris' dream of having the perfect family vacation doesn't exactly go as planned when Kourtney and Scott are extremely late, Scott and Bruce are fighting and Kris' past comes back to haunt her while in the Dominican Republic. But one thing is for sure ... we can all take a breath after last week's cliffhanger because Kris didn't end up sneaking off to see her ex-flame, Todd! Apparently, she had every intention of meeting up with him, but at the last minute had a change of heart and felt guilty for wanting to see him one last time. It's a good thing she came to her senses, because I don't think her family or Bruce would have been too thrilled about the idea.
But don't think that Kris gets off this easily, because while on their family vacation Kourtney exposes her mother's dirty little secret right in front of Bruce. Will he believe that Kris never ended up seeing him? Let's get right into tonight's new episode and find out!
Scott Gets Put in the Friend Zone
I have to admit, this one surprised me a little -- Scott is all up in arms that while on an outing with Bruce and one of his sons, he calls Scott his "friend" rather than his son-in-law or something else that is a little more endearing than just a friend. Scott really takes this to heart and leaves right in the middle of the race car daytrip, which doesn't sit well with Bruce.
It's a classic case of two people getting mad at one another without even knowing why the other is upset. But of course, being men, rather than telling each other why they are mad, they just stay pissed off until things get worse. As you might imagine, the tension continues to build in the Dominican, and it looks like we will have to wait for a future episode for the pending blowout between the two.
Bruce Plays Cupid
Bruce tries to play matchmaker on vacation when a golf pro seems to have a connection with Kim. I think he gets a little too excited with the thought of Kim actually hooking up with someone "normal" ... and it doesn't hurt that he happens to be an expert at one of Bruce's favorite sports. Not surprisingly, Kim immediately dismisses the whole idea and demands that Bruce disinvite the pro to their family dinner. Now that we know she is with Kanye, a golf pro doesn't quite seem her style.
Unfortunately, we will have to wait to see if Bruce will believe that Kris never met up with Todd, but it doesn't look too good for her. I have to say, I'm a little annoyed with Kourtney this episode, and for once I think she is being pretty harsh on her mom. Let's hope Kris has the chance to straighten things out next week and let this whole Todd thing blow over.
