The Mystery Box Challenge includes a rabbit to cook which intimidates many of the home chefs. To make things worse, judge Graham is going to do the challenge too. All of the cooks have an hour to make something wonderful. No pressure.
For a heavy guy, Graham is bounding around the kitchen like a greyhound. He manages to come up with a whole selection of different rabbit dishes by the time the hour is up. The home chef contestants all come up to taste Grahams dishes and marvel at his beautiful plating techniques.
Top three
Frank also does a nice job plating and cooking. Gordon says everything works and it's one of the best. Graham likes that Frank stuffed the rabbit legs. "Cowboy" Mike's dish is also liked by the judges and Joe adds that it's cooked perfectly. The third best rabbit dish of the home cooks belongs to Becky. Gordon is amazed that her glaze turned out so well. Becky wins.
Don't be a tool
The theme in the Elimination Challenge is "the tools of the trade" and Becky must choose smartly. She is going to have to compete in the challenge too this time. Out of a pizza stone, wok and deep fryer, Becky picks the fryer for her self and the pizza stone for the others. This turns out to be a good choice because the home chefs are freaking out what to make on this thing. "Cowboy" Mike, for the life of him, can't remember how to make pizza dough. Joe snaps it's flour yeast and water. Yeah.
The family stone
With the hour ticking away, Monti's soda bread is burning on the pizza stone while she struggles with making pureed carrots for her soup. Tanya is ruining her lamb chops. When it's judging time, Tanya hasn't fixed anything, but Monti hurried and got her meal under control. She said this is the kind of thing she makes for herself and her son on a rainy day and aww ... that's sounds sweet and cozy. Joe tastes Monti's roasted carrot soup and soda bread and says he wants this on a rainy day too. Joe calls Tanya's lamb cutlets "dreadful" which is kind since it has huge raw garlic cloves in it.
David's lobster is not edible either. Graham says he can't even taste it and Joe throws it in the garbage. Meanwhile, Gordon calls Tali's dish a mess just like his cooking station which is gross with dishes on the floor and flour paste dripping all over the cupboards. "Cowboy" Mike's lobster is "dehydrated" Graham says. Gordon adores Becky's Shrimp Tempura. Christina's Indian flatbread wth curry and a fried egg on top is intriguing and Graham praises it.
Tanya, David and Mike have the worst dishes so they face elimination. Tali escapes this bottom three and it's "Cowboy" Mike who has to trot off.
