Kim really can't get away from these "K" guys, and after Kris I'd say her new beau Kanye is definitely a step up. Not to say I'm the biggest fan of the rap superstar, but at least he seems to be completely smitten with her at the moment. Although his appearance is brief, he decides to join Kim and the clan in New York for Scott's big restaurant opening. This Kanye is one we don't usually get to see, and he even appears to be a little camera shy as he softly speaks and doesn't dare to take away the spotlight from the Kardashian sisters. I have to say, if he keeps it up, I just might like this match for her.
Scott in the City
It's Scott's big night in New York, and the pressure is on more than ever for him to deliver at his restaurant opening. Once again, Kourtney and the others get annoyed when he doesn't immediately greet them upon their arrival, and even after a day or two without even so much as a hello. I have to say I'm on the fence with this one -- I can't imagine the amount of pressure he is under to get the restaurant up to par before the big night and he needs to be there around the clock to make sure everything is on schedule, but at the same time I can see why the family might feel a little put-off by his neglectful behavior.
And it really doesn't help that the one break he does take is to go party with Rob in the city until 6am. Even though my fondness for Scott has grown slightly over the last couple seasons, he really seems to be slipping back into old behaviors. Right now, I'd say he better watch himself before he goes out one too many times and Kourtney finally decides to throw in the towel.
Despite all of his worries, the restaurant opening goes off without a hitch and the place looks modern and trendy. The only downside is the effects the restaurant is having on Rob, who is feeling a bit jealous that Scott has actually pulled this off before he was able to get his new sock line up and running. I'm a little confused about the whole sock plan and how he chose this type of business, but I guess this is something that has been in the works for Rob for quite some time. Nevertheless, keep your fingers crossed for Rob that he gets things moving soon!
Back Together
After the fights we saw last night between Khloe and her sisters, it looks like everything is all good when the couple flies to The Big Apple and reunites with the whole family. Khloe was worrying about disrupting Lamar's schedule for no reason when he eagerly jumps at the chance to go to New York, and even though it seems like they are all getting along, I highly doubt this family will stay happy with one another for another few weeks.
