Wowsa. This was one great eppie of The Bachelorette. As we begin tonight, it's down to Arie, Sean and Jef as possible husbands for Emily.

You can tell that Emily really does love things about each of the three finalists. Em also cries real tears and keeps saying she's sorry when she has to send one of the guys packing from beautiful Curacao, but it's still exciting to get closer to the finale.

Cue the heli

If this is The Bachelorette finals, there is going to be at least one heli date. Sean is the lucky recipient as he and Emily soar off to a private island. There is snorkeling and kissing before a dinner on the sand. That is more romantic than it sounds as there are lots of candles in the sand all around them. Sean reads Emily a letter he wrote to Ricky assuming that he and Emily end up together. It says that he won't try to replace her father, but stil be her dad. That is sweet.

Emily gives Sean the card inviting him to the fantasy suite and Sean accepts. The suite is nicely decorated and looks like a beautiful, airy apartment. Emily makes it clear she can't stay because of her values for herself and Ricky and Sean gets it. After the date, Sean says to the camera it's all good because he is going to marry Emily.

The one and only you

Emily's next date is with Jef and he is still my favorite. Jef and Emily spend the day swimming, then dine outdoors at a table with wine, tablecloths and everything. I'm glad that Jef asks a lot of questions and Emily seems to take that as Jef being serious about her. Aside from being my favorite for Emily, Jef sounds like the most sincere guy when he talks about his future with Emily.

They both say they would be fine moving anywhere to start a life together. Jef assures Emily that his parents are definitely thrilled to meet her if they end up together. Emily says Jef is unique. Yeah, he is! Jef nicely surprises Emily by telling her that while he would love to stay in the fantasy suite with her, he understands her values. They just spend some time in the suite, which is more rustic than the other one, before calling it a night.

Oh damn, you're still here

After seeing my romantic vision of an Emily and Jef future seem closer, I almost forget about Arie. I have to admit that Emily just can't seem to keep her hands, or her mouth, away from that guy. Arie also seems to get the best date - swimming in the open ocean with dolphins. When Emily gets a bit scared of the dolphins, Arie is all protective which of course, a girl loves. They kiss a lot and I get worried about Jef's chances.

I think Arie blows it when he says that if he and Emily get married, he would first be Ricky's friend then evolve into being a father to her. But, Emily seems to love that. It's confusing when she doesn't even offer Arie the fantasy suite card, but my hopes for Jef are really dashed when Emily explains to the camera that she did that because she can't trust herself to part from Arie. Arie is cute, but as a race car driver, I think he'd be out of town too much. This doesn't seem to be a concern for Emily.

Not so secret messages

Emily speaks with Chris Harrison and she is so teary about having to send one of the three men home. She even gets Chris a little teary eyed in the process. You can tell he really likes sweet Emily.  Before the Rose Ceremony gets underway, Emily watches a video message from each of the guys. Sean mentions being a dad to Ricky and having more kids.

I'm worried that saying that will give him the edge over Jef who is more abstract and just says he really wants a future with Emily. I don't like Arie's video message as he basically summarizes all of his and Emily's dates which seems more like a newscast that a romantic statement. I guess that means Emily will love it?

Final Rose Ceremony

Arie, Sean and Jef stand there in a row waiting for Emily. She comes out in a skirt that looks like crinkled tin foil and a grey tank top. Well, she is so pretty, she could look good wearing rags and the guys wouldn't care.

Emily tells them that she does care for them all and her decision is so difficult. She toys with the first rose so long in her hands that I want to scream for her to hurry up, like that would do any good. Then, I do scream anyway (sorry, neighbors) when the first rose goes to Jef! Yay! The smile on Jef's face after looking so worried says it all. Arie gets the final Rose and it's Sean who is going home.

Did the right guy leave The Bachelorette this week? Why or why not?
