The onslaught continues! The latest actress to tackle the iconic role of Catwoman, Anne Hathaway, was on Letterman to promote the impending release of The Dark Knight Rises.
Stunts And Monkeys
Letterman and Hathaway had some great banter going, as Dave was a little flirtatious -- as he can be with his cute female guests. They started off with Dave comparing Hathaway's short hair to that of Audrey Hepburn, which made Hathaway blush. "This is a great look, though," she explained, because "I get an extra hour every morning." Hathaway quickly segued into the Batman film, of course, talking about how she did, incredibly, all but two of her stunts in the film. "Christopher Nolan told me that Joseph Gordon-Levitt did all of his own stunts on Inception," Hathaway explained. "I took that as a hint." The conversation somehow made its way to a discussion of monkeys: Letterman said he didn't like the ones who came on the show. "That's because they're nervous -- they have to perform!" Hathaway said. "You have to just chill with some of them."
