No one saw this coming — Kathy Bates garnering a nom for Best Actress — Drama? Yet it happened this morning, for her lead turn in Harry's Law. Bates is a fantastic actress with a great career, so you can never really count her out.
No Way To Go Out
Despite the fact that the nom would've been for House's final season, Hugh Laurie did not manage to grab a nom for Best Actor — Drama. A bit surprising, considering the Emmys tend to honor characters on their way out the door.
