The "liars" are still trying to break the code Mona gave them to get into Maya's personal website.
Code Breaker
Spencer asks Caleb for help in cracking the code and surprisingly he is more than happy to help. Spencer and Caleb seem to be having a moment when hanging out.
After some innocent (or not so innocent) flirting between Caleb and Spencer, Caleb breaks the code. Unfortunately, there are no clues. The website seems to just be filled with Maya's personal videos.
Hanging Out in the Woods
Nate and Emily took a hike in the woods. There still seems to be some sexual tension between the two of them. Nate has a lot of anger for Garrett and rightfully so. He cryptically is telling Emily he can see himself killing Garrett. Later on, Paige tells Emily the same thing.
Emily visits Paige to see why she was out of school for a couple days. They end up going for a jog in the woods (this is a nature filled episode). Emily admits to Paige that the drug that made Paige sick was in her flask. Paige admits to Emily that the night Emily blacked out after drinking from the flask, they hung out together.
Paige found Emily sitting on her doorstep. Emily kissed Paige, but when Paige went to get a glass of water, Emily was gone.
After taking time to think about why Paige was the first person she kissed after Maya, Emily visits Paige. Emily tells Paige that she wasn't lost when she wandered onto Paige's doorstep that night. Then Emily and Paige exchange a passionate make out session.
Mother Knows Best
Aria comes home to find Ezra with his mother. Aria and Ezra have been dating an awful long time for Aria not to have met Ezra's mother.
The nice mom routine didn't last long. Once Ezra's mother gets Aria alone she lets her know she isn't fond of Aria and her family. She hints that she is willing to pay Aria to leave Ezra's life.
Ezra confronts his mom after he realizes Aria left. Luckily Ezra isn't fooled by his mom's attempt at acting concerned. He knows his mom is the reason Aria left and he isn't happy.
Moving Out
According to Wren, doctors are trying to move Mona to a hospital far away. Aria takes a visit to an address she and Spencer found in Veronica's bag. It turns out the address is home to a movie theatre where a key witness works. He tells Aria that he saw Mona get into Garrett's cop car the night of the murder.
Following Wren's advice, Hanna gives it a shot and meets with Mona's doctors to try to convince them to keep Mona in town. Hanna's performance is so good I think I believe her when she says her and Mona are the same person.
The doctors bought Hanna's performance as well. Hanna is so happy to hear the news that she plants a kiss right on Wren's lips. Is this an accidental kiss or sign of a stronger attraction?
The Conclusion
This week's episode ends with the "liars" (minus Emily) watching videos on Maya's website. Only they don't want to continue to watch without Emily out of respect. Viewers at home are definitely screaming at their televisions for the "liars" to just continue watching to see what happens next! Emily is busy swimming in the pool with her new lover Paige and misses the "liars" call.
The episode ends with "A" taking out money. Yup, there is nothing sketchy about a person wearing all black and black gloves while handling money. My first guess is Ezra's mom is "A" and she is taking out cash to try to pay Aria off so she will no longer see Ezra. What do you think?
