Jake told Jenna he loved her and she said "awesome." So Jenna is avoiding the issue by going through all the things she loves, like ice cream and hooded sweatshirts. To make matters worse for Jenna, her mom's best friend Ally announces she is engaged.
When a Man Loves a Woman
Sadie is still hooking up with Ricky Schwartz. Only Sadie seems to only be in it for the hooking up, while Ricky wants more.
Who knew Ricky Schwartz was such a hopeless romantic. He is laying the romantic lines on thick while he and Sadie try to hook up in the back of his car.
Sadie has Ricky running around doing her dirty work. The job Lissa used to have. This may turn out being the quickest way to Sadie's heart. Who says there is no such thing as true love?
Did I Say That?
Matty tells Jake that you can't say "I love you" before having sex. He may be right. However, there aren't a lot of studies on the subject.
Jenna reveals to Jake they should have sex, only the entire school gets to listen in. Jenna's elbow was on the intercom when she was giving Jake the good news.
Naturally, after accidentally announcing to the school she wants to have sex with Jake, Jenna tries to hide in the toilet stall. Only problem is, this is no way to hide from your issues. Let this be a lesson to all of you.
Everybody's favorite guidance counselor turned vice principal, Valerie, is parting her wisdom on Jenna. Nothing says sex education like watching the vice principal sticking a pencil between her fingers to simulate sex.
Unexpected Company
Jenna brings home Jake for some love making, or maybe "like" making. Unfortunately, her mom is home drinking with Valerie and Ally. Sadie joins the party. Ally's new fiance is apparently also Sadie's uncle.
Jenna sends out her love making signal to Jake. Jake picks her up in a minivan, which is the first way to not get laid. Jake reveals his feelings to Jenna again, only this time she feels them back. The episode ends with Jake and Jenna starting to hook up in the back of his minivan.
The Jake, Matty and Jenna love triangle seems to finally be taking shape. Jake loves Jenna and now we find out Jenna feels the same way back. The question is, will Matty feel the need to try to break things up or will he just play the part of the friend?

Valerie: "You know, if you drink enough wine, it tastes like love."
