I bet when you flipped through your favorite shows tonight, you weren't secretly wishing to see a full water birth. But on tonight's episode of the Kardashians, Kourtney witnesses first hand just how natural a home birth would be. I'm not sure if it's just this whole organic and holistic trend that's been going on that got Kourtney thinking it would be a good idea to have her second baby in the privacy of her home, but none of her family members are on board with her new idea. I could have predicted without watching the episode that seeing another woman give birth in a bathtub might change her mind, and luckily the constant moaning and painful screams seem to be enough to deter her from going au natural.

I'm not saying she couldn't do it, but I can't imagine that she realizes how much pain you actually go through without the assistance of the epidural. I know Khloe definitely appreciates her sister's change of heart considering she looks like she's either going to throw up or run out the door while watching the other woman. So for now, it looks like Kourtney will return to the hospital once her second baby is ready to make its arrival.

Seize the Day

Kris has to face an uncomfortable situation when her daughters force her to go visit her mother, who has been battling both colon and breast cancer. I'm sure most people would be appalled at the fact that Kris hasn't been back to see her mom in a couple of years and she gets squeamish at the thought of it, but it isn't for the reasons that you might think. Kris tends to avoid emotional situations and she clearly hasn't been able to come up with a way to cope with her mom's condition. For a woman who has gone through so much, she is actually doing quite well and hopefully Kris and the family will keep their word in saying that they will visit her much more often.

Bruce Tames His Flailing Arm

Bruce has a nasty habit of hitting Kris in the face while they are asleep, so after 21 years of marriage he finally decides to see a sleep doctor while the girls are away. I have to say that I'd be slightly annoyed too if it took my husband that long to get himself checked out if he was smacking me in his sleep every night. But nevertheless, Bruce takes it upon himself to get it looked at. After getting hooked up to some very uncomfortable looking wires, the sleep doctors confirm his flailing left arm and rather than continuing to see a doctor, Bruce decides to put his arm in a sling before he goes to sleep at night. I'm not sure if this is the right way to handle the situation, but I guess we will see in episodes to come!

What do you think of tonight's episode? Do you think Kris should have been visiting her mother more often, or do you give her a pass because of the situation she is in? Do you think Kourtney could have handled an at-home water birth? Leave your comments and come back next week for your Kardashian coverage!
