A composed, carefully put together speech from the normally all-over-the-place Kirstie Alley might seem like a surprise, but that's exactly what her acceptance speech was when she won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Cheers. Ever down-to-earth, Alley said that she didn't have anything clever to say -- but disproved herself when she famously thanked her husband for "giving me the big one for the last eight years."
