I don't always express strong opinions in this column. After all, these projects are at the very early stages. But see if you can figure out how I feel about the HBO series Entourage.
Entourage: Return of the Giant D-Bags
It's not greenlit yet, but Entourage creator Doug Ellin has emailed Nikki Finke of Deadline that he's pretty much finished the script for a feature based on what may be the worst thing ever to happen on television or elsewhere, Entourage. Soon, HBO will have to decide if they want to make a movie that celebrates sexism, racism, homophobia, stupidity, unexamined privilege, unearned wealth and everything else that is vapid, shallow and horrible about our culture. As a regular viewer of the male Sex and the City, I can only hope!
