TV show theme songs have always been synonymous with sitcoms, catchy tunes, cheesy montages and cornball lyrics we are cursed to always recall. Nowadays, sitcoms have scores of music, typically without lyrics, that we don't pay much attention to.

However, 80s theme songs are the best by far. Take an earwax flashback to a time when 2-4 minutes of every show was wasted on these radio rejects.

Growing Pains, ABC (1985-1992)

Starring Allen Thicke, Kirk Cameron, and later Leo DiCaprio, this show had kids and parents alike guffawing on cue with the show's annoying laugh track.  We cannot forget the opening montage with the cast's childhood photos mixed with show clips, accompanied by BJ Thomas' soothing vocals? Who knew Cameron would later trade his tight half shirts for anti-gay marriage tirades? Ironic.
