With Monroe's home base just miles away, Miles, played by Twilight's Billy Burke, knew there was no going back. Aware that they could be dead by morning, he and Charlie pushed on. Viewers tonight not only felt the heat from the land mine and pressure, they were treated to a dose of Led Zeppelin music. Though clearly the musical promo for this episode was far more inviting than the episode's end result, one can never go wrong with “Kashmir.”
Revolution, starring Giancarlo Esposito, Daniella Alonso, Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridakos and Zak Orth, airs on NBC Mondays at 10 p.m. E.T.
False Reality
On the last leg of their journey to Philadelphia, the gang figured out a way to infiltrate the Monroe base. With barely lit torches, Miles, Charlie, Nora, Aaron and the extra help made their way through a dark rat-infested tunnel. One wrong step resulted in Charlie's foot on a land mine. Although they escaped the explosion, their exit was sealed and the fire ate up the oxygen. Nora thought she was attacked by an alligator, and after seeing his long-lost wife, Aaron figured out that they were basically suffocating due to the lack of oxygen. No one was immune from the hallucinations, not even Miles.
Dirty Little Secret
Zeppelin's “Kashmir” played as Miles opened a door to what he thought was Monroe's office. Formerly best friends, Monroe grabbed Miles in a warm embrace. The moment was too real for Miles when Monroe reminded him of his dirty little secret. Deep down, Miles himself wondered if Monroe offered to take him back, would he just sell out his friends and family to fall back in line beside the general? Suddenly they sensed the fresh air and raced for the possible open door. There at gunpoint they were betrayed by the rest of their party. After being grazed by a bullet, Charlie fell into her dream world back with her father. How cruel of an hallucination to be so tempted to die happy back home with dad. She finally awoke to Miles desperately shouting at her to wake up. They were ready to leave the tunnel and head for what could be the end of them.
A Mother's Desperation
Listening to some Zeppelin with what little power the pendant emanated, Rachel appeared to be hard at work for Monroe. She had to save her son. The amplifier Monroe thought she was building was to power his war machines. However, deception was apparently her game and Monroe quickly figured out that it was a time bomb in the making. The fall finale next week is when all will be revealed.
