Hey everyone, word is, Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman might reconcile, so let's turn away for a minute and give them some space. Here are some other potentially positive developments from Hollywood.
MacFarlane in Spurs
If it wasn't bad enough that Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane was tapped to host the Academy Awards, now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, MacFarlane plans to follow up with a movie that he will star in. Not only that: it's a Western comedy, in the tradition of Mel Brooks' classic Blazing Saddles, called A Million Ways to Die in the West. He's already written the script with Ted co-writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, and Media Rights Capital is set to finance it. I know that Ted and Family Guy were successful, but does anyone really want to see MacFarlane take center stage in his projects? Is it just me that finds his smugly smirking persona hard to take?
