Downton Abbey Mainstay Bids Farewell
All signs of Christmas cheer evaporated for Downton Abbey fans with the news that the dashing Dan Stevens will part ways with the series following his Season 3 run. So yes, Downton devotees, this means no more Matthew, which also means no more Matthew and Mary (Michelle Dockery). UK-based viewers already know the juicy details surrounding Matthew's exit from the series, so if you're so heartbroken that you want to end the pain in one fell swoop, go ahead and seek out the spoilers. Does Matthew die? Does he grow restless of his life with his mother? Does he move to Hollywood to become a song-and-dance man? So many questions!

Walking Dead Actress Signs On to Once
ABC's Once Upon a Time is adding yet another new face to its Season 2 cast, nabbing The Walking Dead's Sonequa Martin-Green to play -- wait for it -- Tamara! Okay, so no one has a clue who this character is, but she'll undoubtedly turn out to be some kind of princess from a far away land. I'm racking my brain for black fairy tale princesses, and only coming up with the lead from the ho-hum The Princess and the Frog.

Soap Vets Return for All My Children Revamp
The world still mourns the loss of daytime soap staple All My Children, but the prospect of a web-based revival is looking more and more likely. And fans should have reason to cheer with the news that Vincent Irizarry's duplicitous Dr. David Hayward is set to return, along with his sometimes girlfriend Cara Castillo (Lindsay Hartley). Whether the show actually makes it to the interwebs still remains to be seen, but adding such a high-profile player back into the mix certainly bodes well for the series.

General Hospital Alum Joins Young and the Restless
Speaking of soap operas, isn't it funny how daytime stars soap-hop from show to show? The latest face to swap networks is Steve Burton, who just wrapped his run on General Hospital as Jason Morgan, now finding a home on CBS' The Young and the Restless. According to those in the know, Burton will likely show up as Avery's (Jessica Collins) ex, back from war. As a non-soap fan, this bit of news carries no weight for me, save for one glaring question: this guy has to be related to Barry Pepper, right?
