Two and a Half Men

Dumping of Major Characters

There was a lot of casting upheaval in 2011, as, for one reason or another, beloved characters and actors left popular shows. The most shocking: Charlie Sheen leaving Two and a Half Men (CBS), Lisa Edelstein leaving House (FOX), Laurence Fishburne leaving CSI (CBS), Steve Carell exiting The Office (NBC) and Christopher Meloni leaving Law and Order: SVU (NBC).

Walden (Ashton Kutcher) and Alan (Jon Cryer) exchange their problems over drinks. Alan whines about needing money while drinking a girly peach mojito, while Walden orders a ginger ale for his sour stomach. To no surprise, his alter ego of Sam Wilson is under a lot of stress. How long until he is forced to come clean with his girlfriend Kate (Brooke D’Orsay)? How long before the romance is over?

Two and a Half Men starring Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones airs on CBS Thursdays at 8:30 pm ET.

Snooki's Baby Thongs

After hearing that Kate lost out on an internship to a designer of Snooki's baby thongs, Walden is driven to help. He decides to invest in her fashion line by transferring $100,000 into Alan's bank account so that he can invest in her clothing line. It may sound clean and easy, but it is becoming obvious that the guilt from the "Sam Wilson Charade" is taking its toll on Walden. Filled with appreciation Kate tries to thank Walden in the bedroom that night. While she was all over Walden with gratitude, he just can't get into the mood.

Headed for Disaster

Who else but Walden shows up to discuss his plight at 3:00 am? While Alan tries to explain why he is sleeping in Walden's bed while he's gone, the ex-roomie is pouring out his soul. Walden has a mile-long list of symptoms such as twitching, hair loss, weight gain and most importantly, love-making issues. Just as he wants to give another try to a romantic night with Kate, she jumps into a limo to head for a business trip in New York to pursue her fashion dream. With a kiss for good luck Walden shuts the door behind her saying, "My name is Walden Schmidt. I'm a billionaire. I love you too." Practice away, Walden. This charade is headed for a broken-hearted disaster of epic proportion.

The Secret's in the Sauce

Just when it can't get any worse, Alan drops by Kate and Walden's apartment only to find his ex roommate sitting on the bed in the dark. It's not what one would think. The lights turn on to find him clutching a spare rib, bags of chips spilled over the sheets and barbeque sauce dripping down his white shirt. There, below his stained T-shirt spills out an additional 20 pounds of stomach. To be continued flashes across the screen and viewers know that next week's episode might just be the big one.
