MTV's new show Buckwild is -- like many of the network's offerings -- really just a celebration of people behaving badly. What makes this show even more worthy of the tisk-tisks and head-shakes it will no doubt elicit is that its stars are young, impressionable and exploitable. Here are just some of the lowlights we saw in episode number one:

The Opening Montage

Well we didn't have to wait long. A debauchery-laden celebration of being able to do “whatever the f___ you want,” kicks off Buckwild's debut. Picture the Jersey Shore on Moonshine and you'll start to get the idea.

Shain Spinning Downhill in a Tire

The first of many Jackass-like moments in tonight's Buckwild offering, Shain stuffs himself inside a tractor tire and hurdles down a hill at a breakneck speed. Miraculously, he avoids damaging the pea-sized bit of brain beneath his helmet.

The Guys Pounce on Cara Right Away

Cara comes over to meet the guys for the first time in a, shall we say, less than classy ensemble, and of course they launch right into hitting on her. Their smarmy advances are imbued with innuendo. Gotta love those country gentlemen.

Anna Brawls with Willy Wonka

When the crew throws a party at the girls' house, the woman from next door comes to complain about the noise, insults fly and tension bubbles over between Anna and the magenta-headed neighbor. Next thing we know, she's brawling with the woman identified only by the moniker that the party-goers bestowed upon her - Willy Wonka.

The Guys Horse Around While the Girls Get Evicted

The girls get evicted for being peace-disturbing lushes. Serious business? Shain and Joey don't seem to think so. They're busy whacking each other with lengths of pipe and setting things on fire.

Someone's Been Sleeping in My Bed

Tyler and Cara canoodle in Anna's bed, and when she finds out about it, we have our second fracas of the episode. Who knew that rural West Virginia was such a soap opera?

I've Got the Power

The crew goes for a dip in a muddy creek that sits in the shadow of a power plant. Shain says he's taken a dip there at least 50 times, a fact that solves a mystery or two.

Junk in the Trunk

When Shain creates a swimming pool out of the back of a dump truck, everyone dives right in. Especially Salwa, who - after the guys offer her $100 - sheds her top and splashes down. Being Bengali, she could've brought some culture to the otherwise Caucasian crew, but alas, she's a willing participant in the madness.
