Matthew Perry portraying Ryan King, left, and Tyler James Williams as Owen in the pilot episode of "Go On." Sneak peeks of NBC's new prime-time schedule will piggyback on network coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

Simone (Piper Perabo) continues to excite the group as her love affair with Matthew Perry’s Ryan King heats up – only to have it all grow suddenly cold as the ghost of his late wife returns.

Go On starring Matthew Perry, John Cho and Laura Benanti airs on NBC Tuesdays at 9:00 pm ET.

"Just in time for Valentine's Day, love has entered the group," sighs Lauren

When Piper Perabo's Simone flutters her eyelashes at Ryan and says "Je t'adore" to him in front of the group, everyone (except the disapproving leader, Lauren) gets all mushy, especially about her using the more familiar "tu" form instead of the more formal "vous." As they chant "tu not vous, tu not vous" Lauren (Laura Benanti) reminds everyone of her rule about no dating among group members, but she is overruled and shouted down by everyone else, all of whom are excited for Ryan.

Janie's Ghost is back - and she brought a date

Unfortunately for Ryan, not all is well - for the ghost of his late wife Janie (Christine Woods) shows up on the couch while he his snuggling with Simone. Freaked out by this, he asks the group for help but walks in on a different group run by Lauren, “Beautiful Losers Weight Loss." Just before being kicked out for handing out junk food to these weight watchers, Ryan is told that ghosts are "territorial," and that he needs to take his new girl somewhere besides the home he shared with his late wife.

Ryan takes Simone to a hotel, only to be haunted not only by Janie but by another ghost, Thomas. "You're dating?" he asks her incredulously? "Just because I'm not real doesn't mean I don't have needs" she responds - at which point Ryan bolts, leaving a naked and confused Simone in the shower.

"Sexy Owen, That's a New Color"

Worried that Lauren is not excited enough about her impending nuptials, the women of the group decided to jump-start things by shopping for a wedding dress for her. They decide that the "kid" of the group, Owen (Tyler James Williams) is the perfect model to try on dresses for Lauren because, as Yolanda (Suzy Nakamura) puts it after giving him an awkward hug, except for "a pair of supple breasts" he's just like Lauren. Yolanda, Anne (Julie White), Fausta (Tonita Castro) and Sonia (Sarah Baker) take Owen to a bridal shop where once in a wedding gown even he admits that "I'm beautiful!"

Yolanda, Sonia, Anne and Fausta: Four Goddesses and a Party

Intent on proving they don't need a man (or woman) or a wedding to make their own lives full, Yolanda, Anne, Fausta and Sonia throw a "goddess" party on Valentine's Day.

Although things almost fall apart as Ryan and Simone appear to break up over his running out on her, once Ryan explains the whole dead wife ghost bit, Simone warms up again. Ryan is still not sure, but at the party Janie shows up and tells him, "You told her the crazy truth about you and she didn't freak out. Maybe you should be with her."

We’ll see if he takes his late wife’s advice.
