The critically acclaimed "Community" is a smart, exuberant half-hour comedy series about a tight-knit study group at Greendale Community College. At the center of the group is Jeff Winger (Joel McHale, The Soup), a fast-talking lawyer whose degree has been revoked. With some help from his fellow classmates, Winger forms a study group who eventually learn more about themselves than their course work.

Comedy veteran Fred Willard plays Chevy Chase's character Pierce in "Abed's Happy Community College Show" -a dream version of the series which is "filmed entirely in my head." Confused? Wait until Abed's mind presents the cartoon "Greendale Babies" parody of Muppet Babies later in the show, in which each member of the cast shows up as an animated baby in with a little kiddy voice to match.

Community starring Joel McHale and Gillian Jacobs airs on NBC Thursdays at 8:00 pm ET.

"New" Jeff Takes on the Dean in a Hunger Games for the History of Ice Cream

History of Ice Cream is the only history course offered for credit this semester at Greendale Community College, and Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) is not about to let just anybody take it. He sets up his version of the Hunger Games (which he dubs "Hunger Deans") with 35 competitive events including climbing, crawling, battling and tango dancing, with the winner of each getting a red ball as their ticket of admission. Intent on having all seven members of the group get in, Jeff (Joel McHale) vows to win seven events - even if that means dancing the tango with the dean in drag.

Abed's “Happy Place”

Abed (Danny Pudi) cannot deal with the reality of this being his last year at Greendale, and keeps zoning out to that "happy place" inside his head Britta (Gillian Jacobs) told him about. Mostly this is a bizarre version of the show, complete with laugh track and little commercials for other shows on his dream network. Every member of the regular cast is there in his mental movie, except for Chevy Chase, who in Abed's dream world is played by comedy veteran Fred Willard. As you may remember, Chevy Chase exited the show quite abruptly in November of last year.

Britta and Troy Get Wet in the Wishing Well

Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed traditionally start the year by tossing pennies into the wishing well (actually just a fountain), but as Abed is off in his "happy place" dreamland, Troy invites Britta (whom he is dating) to go with him. Unfortunately she does not understand the complicated convoluted rules the boys have come up with, and this requires un-wishing wishes, wish take backs and splashing about by both Troy and Britta as they flounder about grabbing for the pennies they've tossed into the well.

“Greendale Babies" - Abed's "Muppet Babies" Cartoon Daydream

Jeff imagined as a cartoon baby - in a diaper and with a little kiddie voice? Not just Jeff but the whole crew shows up as animated infants in the Muppet Babies parody playing inside Abed's mind. Snapping him out of it proves very difficult at first, but Troy with everyone's help and a speech by Jeff (which Abed himself scripted in his dream) finally brings Abed out of his trance.
