In the cold open, Jay Pharoah served up a mildly apologetic President Obama, walking us through the cuts in governmental services that lay ahead of us: Doritos will be sponsoring air traffic control, space helmets will no longer have airtight visors, we'll have to fire some monkeys from the zoo and each of The Village People (The Village People ?) will need to take a haircut.
