While most people think being a celebrity has to be the luckiest thing in the world, celebrity siblings must look like hitting the jackpot. Not only are there two rich and famous people in the family but in many cases it helps to build on the brand. However, just in many sibling situations, it begs the question of whether or not there is a sibling rivalry between famous brothers and sisters. Let's take a look at some famous celebrity siblings in Hollywood, their achievements and who seems to have the more successful career.

Liam Hemsworth vs. Chris Hemsworth

These Australian actors have been part of some box office smashes with Chris taking on the role of Thor and Liam partaking in the hugely popular Hunger Games trilogy. Older brother Chris, has had a number of different acting roles. His most famous roles include Thor and the huntsman in Snow White and the Huntsman. Although these roles were a huge success, Liam is definitely giving his brother a run for his money. The Hunger Games shattered box office records when it opened to $155 million and has since reached well over $300 million. Liam seems to trump his brother when it comes to heightened publicity since his engagement to Miley Cyrus seems to be making just as many headlines as his film career.

Julianne Hough vs. Derek Hough

They both starred in Dancing With the Stars and both were two-time winners of the Mirror Ball Trophy. However, Julianne catapulted her career into more than just dancing when she broke out into the country music industry. She then went on to star in the cult classic remake of Footloose and most recently starred in Safe Haven, opposite Josh Duhamel. She is currently dating Ryan Seacrest and there has been much speculation of whether or not the two will wed.

Ben Affleck vs. Casey Affleck

When Ben Affleck won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in 1998, Casey was seen as just another actor in the film. However, Casey made a name for himself in 2007 with critical acclaim in his roles in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Gone Baby Gone. Ben recently won a second Oscar when Argo won Best Picture but it seems these siblings are far from a rivalry. Ben consistently works with his younger brother, Casey, on numerous projects and the two have been able to step out on their own even when working together.

Paris Hilton vs. Nikki Hilton

Both siblings are the great-granddaughters of Conrad Hilton, the founder of the Hilton Hotels chain. Both were viewed as socialites and heiresses until branching off in separate paths. Nikki pursued a career in fashion, design and modeling; while Paris began a journey into being famous for being famous. Paris starred in the hugely popular reality show, The Simple Life, and dabbled in merchandise from clothing to perfume. However, while Nikki tends to stay out of the limelight, Paris seems to keep her name in the tabloids; whether it's the ever-changing men in her life, sex tape scandal or drug allegations.

Kyle Richards vs. Kim Richards

Kyle and Kim are the sisters of Kathy Hilton, granddaughter of Conrad Hilton and mother to Paris and Nikki Hilton. Both were child actors but Kim had a more successful career as a young actress. Kim had roles in Nanny and the Professor, Escape to Witch Mountain and even Little House on the Prairie. Most recently, the two star in the reality show Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While Kyle seems to have the dream life with her successful real estate mogul husband, Mauricio, Kim undergoes public scrutiny for her erratic behavior and rehab for her alcohol addiction.

Jessica Simpson vs. Ashlee Simpson

While Jessica underwent public scrutiny for some of the less intelligent comments made on her reality show, Newlyweds, she was able to turn her flubs into a pile of gold. The show made her far more successful than her music career and she went on to start her own accessory line. Her fashion line took in more than a $1 billion in 2011 alone, she's pregnant with her second child and has a lucrative deal with Weight Watchers. Ashlee gained huge success with her debut album in 2004 and went on to marry and have a child with Fall Out Boy member Pete Wentz. However, following their divorce, Ashlee seems to be making more headlines for her out of control partying ways rather than her almost non-existent music career.

Penelope Cruz vs. Monica Cruz

Younger sister, Monica, has had a huge career in Spanish film and television. However, it seems Penelope receives more acclaim because of her ability to transfer over to American film. Penelope has received a number of nominations and awards, including the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2008. Married to the hugely successful actor, Javier Bardem, the two are expecting their second child.

Donnie Wahlberg vs. Mark Wahlberg

Both Donnie and Mark had some success in the music industry with Donnie as a member of New Kids On The Block and Mark's Marky Mark persona. The duo went into acting and while Donnie had some success in his role on Band of Brothers, it pales in comparison to Mark's success in film and television. His executive roles in Boardwalk Empire and Entourage compete with his hugely successful film roles like The Departed and The Fighter.

Haylie Duff vs. Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff is often thrown into the category of Disney kids because of her success on the Disney series, Lizzie McGuire. However, she starred in films before her Disney career and moved on to the music industry. While Haylie has had a number of film and television roles as well, she is best known for her collaboration with her sister on songs and in film.

Jack Osbourne vs. Kelly Osbourne

Being the son and daughter of Ozzy Osbourne comes with a bit of fame, especially after their popular reality show The Osbournes. They both exhibited some rebellious behavior on the show. Jack eventually entered rehab and starred on Extreme Celebrity Detox, along with a handful of other television and film stints. However, real success came from Kelly after she appeared on Dancing With the Stars and lost a tremendous amount of weight. She is currently one of the hosts on Fashion Police.

Nick Lachey vs. Drew Lachey

During the boy band craze, Nick and Drew were members of 98 Degrees. While Nick gained fame from his televised marriage to Jessica Simpson on The Newlyweds, Drew seemed to take a backseat. However, tables definitely turned with Drew's part in the award-winning musical, Rent, and being a winner of Dancing With the Stars.

Beyonce Knowles vs. Solange Knowles

Younger sister, Solange, started her career in the music industry when she was 16 years old. With a few successful albums under her belt, Solange is also a songwriter, actress, DJ, model and dancer. However, it's hard when your older sister is Beyonce. Not only has she had success in music and film, Beyonce is married to mogul, Jay-Z, and recently performed the Super Bowl halftime show.

Jake Gyllenhaal vs. Maggie Gyllenhaal

Father, Stephen Gyllenhaal, is a director that gave Maggie her first roles in film. Since then, she has received accolades and nominations for her multiple film roles. However, Jake appears to have made more sound choices in film, playing opposite Jennifer Aniston in The Good Girl and Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain.

Ashley Judd vs. Wynonna Judd

The Judds have a colorful past when it comes to family dynamics but Ashley was able to distance herself by her choice in entering film rather than music. While Wynonna continues to struggle with weight issues and matters of the heart, Ashley was able to stay under the radar with a well-maintained film career. However, with a recent television show cancelation and an announcement for a pending divorce, only time will tell who will wind up on top.

Kim Kardashian vs. Khloe Kardashian

The Kardashians have become much more than just siblings, they have become a brand unto themselves. With four separate reality shows and a slew of merchandise and sponsored products, these siblings have worked in collaboration on a number of projects. While most of their endorsements are intertwined, there are some separate features to look at in terms of who is winning this sibling rivalry.

Khloe seemed to be on top when she landed the role of co-host on the X-factor but it was recently announced that she was not asked to stay on for the next season. Kim began to gain some steam with her highly televised wedding to Kris Humphries but the 72-day marriage quickly became a parody rather than true love. Khloe's marriage to basketball star, Lamar Odom, resulted in their own reality show but constant criticism about her weight and inability to become pregnant have put a damper on the show. Kim's relationship with Kanye West has given birth to the nickname, "Kim-ye," but the fact that she is pregnant with his baby while she's still not officially divorced to Kris is something that draws criticism. The tabloids are constantly coming up with new headlines for the Kardashian clan, whether it's that Khloe is really the daughter of OJ Simpson or that Kanye has dumped Kim during her pregnancy. Only time will tell who will win this sibling rivalry.
